RobDT
The ROBDT project developed a framework to support a Robotic Digital Twin that combines data-based models, physics-based models and symbolic models, and uses real data to fit models at runtime. Call: ESA AO/1-10647/21/D/SR
ESA and the European space industry has adopted technologies for MBSE as simulation techniques for decades. During the life cycle of a space mission, a series of models are developed to support simulation and other analytical capabilities that address the specific needs of the various phases of the project. The typical problems addressed are feasibility assessment, design optimization and validation, system performance and safety assessment or on-board software verification and validation. The digital twin supports the rover’s operations at runtime by providing reliable timing and predictions and supporting what-if-analysis to evaluate potential scenarios.
