SYNDAQ

The activity aims to enhance AI across the space mission lifecycle by identifying synthetic data opportunities, developing and validating MVPs, and defining a roadmap toward operational products. Call: ESA AO/1-12821/25/D/SR

The activity has the following objectives:

  1. Identify all areas in the lifecycle of a space mission where the generation of synthetic data will enable or improve the use of AI applications, prioritising the use cases for the Ground Segment Engineering, Operations and Space Safety, according to business needs or impact.
  2. Develop and demonstrate methods for a selection of data modalities and use cases in Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).
  3. Test and validate the development to enhance existing AI applications from both ESA and external mission operators (if part of the Consortium) or external operational AI applications.
  4. Prepare a concrete, implementable roadmap for the further development of the MVPs, including all use cases to an operational product.
