The Italian AI Factory IT4LIA is a strategic initiative designed to transform the national and European AI landscape through cutting-edge HPC infrastructure and a comprehensive suite of services, including no-cost access for eligible startups, SMEs, public administrations, and academic institutions, as well as tailored offerings for other innovation actors.
The AIFDIR project aims to design, develop and validate SW components that are able to significantly improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the management functions of FDIR (Fault Detection, Isolation and Recovery) systems, through the use of artificial intelligence techniques based on Machine Learning (ML) and their integration with symbolic models of the systems and of the possible faults.

ExploDTwin (Digital Twin for Space Exploration Assets) is a Technology Development activity carried out by TRASYS, FBK, and ALTEC with the support of the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC). The project focuses on developing and testing key DT capabilities based on AI for mission operations.
RETE will demonstrate a prototype service for improving the climatic resilience of critical infrastructures, using the national transmission grid (NTG) as a relevant test case. With a focus on selected pilot areas, RETE will analyze site specific geotechnical hazards (i.e. landslides or volumetric collapse) and will characterize meteo-climatic extremes affecting the stability of the NTG. Finally, RETE will elaborate climate resilience scenarios by integrating climate information with a complex network modeling approach.
